Absolute Recovery and Counseling of North Carolina

Restore. Rebuild. Renew.

"You’ll Never Face Your Struggle Alone."

ARC of NC walks alongside individuals and families experiencing addiction, exploitation, poverty, and brokenness—connecting practical restoration with the hope, truth, and transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Why ARC Exists

Many people are not simply facing one isolated challenge. They are dealing with overlapping barriers that create overwhelming chaos and isolation.

Substance Use

Homelessness

Family Breakdown

Exploitation & Trauma

Lack of Resources

ARC seeks to walk with individuals through these exact barriers while pointing them toward Jesus Christ—the ultimate source of redemption, healing, and restoration.

The Restoration Pathway

Our framework for walking alongside individuals and families

1

RESTORE

Meet people exactly where they are and begin addressing immediate barriers, crisis, brokenness, and disconnection through warm relationship and assessment.

2

REBUILD

Help individuals develop stability, personal responsibility, healthy relationships, practical life skills, recovery pathways, and a solid foundation for the future.

3

RENEW

Pursue lasting transformation through Jesus Christ, discipleship, restored relationships, renewed purpose, and a life increasingly aligned with God's design.

Our Core Approach

The Three E's

Education

Providing practical and biblical education that helps individuals understand their circumstances, develop life skills, make healthy decisions, and pursue lasting change.

Exposure

Connecting individuals to positive environments, healthy relationships, employment opportunities, treatment resources, churches, and mentors beyond destructive environments.

Evangelism

Clearly proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and inviting people to respond to Him through repentance and faith as the ultimate center of all restoration.

About ARC of NC

Mission, Theological Identity, and Core Philosophy

Our Mission Statement

Gospel-Centered Restoration

ARC of NC seeks to provide pastoral care, counseling, restoration support, and Gospel-centered discipleship to individuals and families experiencing substance use, exploitation, poverty, family brokenness, and other forms of life disruption, with the ultimate goal of leading people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and helping them walk in newness of life.

Our Theological Identity

ARC of NC is a Christ-centered, Gospel-focused ministry. We are not a secular social-service organization that simply adds Christian language to its programs; Jesus Christ is the reason ARC exists.

God-Given Dignity

Every human being possesses God-given dignity, regardless of current circumstances or history.

Whole-Person Brokenness

Brokenness affects spiritual, emotional, relational, educational, economic, and social dimensions of life.

Truth and Compassion

People need both unflinching truth and unwavering compassion—never one at the expense of the other.

Christ as Ultimate Redeemer

Jesus Christ is the ultimate source of redemption, freedom from addiction, and true restoration.

Discipleship Focus

Restoration is not merely behavioral modification; it includes reconciliation with God and growth in discipleship.

Practical Bridges

Practical assistance is used as a bridge to build relationship, trust, discipleship, and evangelism.

Primary Focus Areas

1. Individuals Struggling With Substance Use

Including people affected by crack/cocaine, fentanyl and opioid use, polysubstance use, repeated overdose, relapse, and untreated substance use disorders.

2. Individuals Trapped in Prostitution or Human Trafficking

Serving individuals experiencing exploitation, survival sex, trafficking, addiction, homelessness, and related severe vulnerabilities.

3. Young Men and Families in High-Need Communities

Providing mentorship, discipleship, practical support, positive exposure, and pathways toward healthier futures in low-income neighborhoods.

Subtle Boundary Disclosure: What ARC Is Not

To maintain total transparency and protect participants, ARC of NC clearly communicates our current organizational boundaries. ARC is a developing ministry and currently:

* When specialized medical, clinical, or emergency services are required, ARC connects individuals directly with licensed community partners.

Rebuild Circles

A Developing Small-Group Restoration Model

What is a Rebuild Circle?

Rebuild Circles are small, Christ-centered gatherings designed to help people rebuild their lives through biblical truth, authentic fellowship, food, accountability, and practical life skills. The goal is not merely to create a support group, but to build a community where people are known, challenged, encouraged, discipled, and pointed to Jesus Christ.

Core Components of a Circle Gathering:

Food & Fellowship: Shared meals that foster dignity and open conversation.
Biblical Teaching: Grounding life choices in God's Word.
Weekly Commitments: Small, measurable action steps toward stability.
Honest Discussion: Safe, accountable space to share real struggles.

Future Ministry Horizon (Vision Roadmap)

As ARC of NC matures and builds sustainable capacity, our structural architecture allows expansion into:

• Celebrate Recovery Groups
• Youth Development Circles
• Family Restoration Programs
• Anti-Trafficking Outreach
• Licensed Clinical Counseling
• Transitional Housing Navigation
